Being my first 4th of July celebrated in LA, me and my roommates deemed it necessary to go all out (red lipstick and all). From a morning spent at a quaint neighborhood parade, to a spontaneous party in our backyard, our country’s freedom was definitely celebrated the right way with our closest friends, lots of laughter and a whole lot of sunshine. We closed out the night on the roof of our friend’s house to watch five different firework shows with a view of LAX in the background. Needless to say, it was a great day to be an American.
